HPC-Europa2 Transnational Access programme: EC funding for collaborative research visits http://www.hpc-europa.eu/ Next deadline for applications: 28 February 2011

We are inviting EU-based researchers to apply now for the EC-funded HPC-Europa2 programme, which offers short (6 weeks on average) collaborative visits to a similar research group in another country, and access to some of the most powerful computers in Europe.

What does HPC-Europa2 Transnational Access offer?

- Access to the top of the range supercomputing facilities; - Scientific collaboration and technical support; - Travel and subsistence expenses and accommodation.

The programme is open to researchers of any level, from PhD students to full professors, in any field of computational science which requires world-class computing facilities.

Seven leading supercomputing centres in Finland, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and the UK offer HPC-Europa2 visits. More than 250 research groups in universities and institutes in these countries are already associated with the programme and welcome HPC-Europa2 applications from potential collaborators from around Europe.

The next application deadline is 28 February 2011, for visits starting from May 2011.
